Thunderbird TRB-D56

The Thunderbird TRB-D56 is a 100-ton heavy fighter flown in the attack role. Where the TRB-D36 mounts a Large Laser and a Medium Laser in the nose, this variant carries an Ultra AC/10 and a Heavy PPC there instead. Each wing keeps its LRM 20 but trades the Medium Laser for an ER Medium Laser, and an Artemis IV FCS now guides each wing's LRM 20. The aft arc swaps the TRB-D36's pair of Medium Lasers for two ER Small Lasers. The XL engine and Ferro-Aluminum armor replace the TRB-D36's Fusion plant and Standard plate, and 20 double heat sinks cool the design in place of the 25 single sinks the earlier model carried.
