Phantom A

The Phantom A is a 40-ton striker built on the same 360 XL fusion engine and ferro-fibrous shell as the Phantom Prime, but arms it for close brawling rather than reconnaissance. Where the Prime carries a single LRM 5 in the left arm and an ER Medium Laser in the right, this configuration mounts four ER Small Lasers, two to each arm, and shifts the ER Medium Laser to the center torso. LRM 5 racks sit in both the left and right torso, and the ER Small Laser that faces forward on the Prime is turned to fire rearward from the left torso. The TAG, ECM suite, and active probe carried on the Prime configuration are absent here, and cruising and top speeds hold at 97 and 151 km/h.
