Ostroc OSR-5C

The OSR-5C is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3082 rebuild of the 2511 OSR-2C. Where the original carried a Large Laser and Medium Laser in each torso plus an SRM 4 in the right torso, the OSR-5C fields a Light PPC and Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso and a Heavy PPC and ER Medium Laser in the right torso. A lighter 360 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure lift cruising speed from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97 km/h, and the machine now adds jump capability out to 150 metres, which the OSR-2C lacked entirely. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original, and the heat-sink count drops from 15 single to 12 double units. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the earlier machine, and the Taurian Concordat builds it.
