Ostroc OSR-2M

The OSR-2M is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 2793 field rework of the 2511 OSR-2C that strips the loadout down to its long-gunned core. Where the OSR-2C backed its paired Large Lasers in each torso with a Medium Laser apiece and a right-torso SRM 4, the OSR-2M carries only the two Large Lasers, one in the Left Torso and one in the Right Torso, leaving the close-range weapons out entirely. It gains a jump capability of 150 meters that the original lacked, while cruising speed holds at 54 km/h and top speed at 86 km/h on the same 300 fusion engine. The type keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette, and as a field refit it is assembled at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
