Mongoose II MON-267

The Mongoose II MON-267 is a 40-ton scout that fights at long range, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130, with a MASC-driven sprint of 173 km/h when engaged. Its firepower centers on a single ER Large Laser in the center torso, tied to a targeting computer in the right torso for accuracy at distance. A Beagle active probe shares the left torso with the MASC unit, while a Guardian ECM suite in the right torso screens the design from enemy sensors. A C3 slave unit in the head marks it as a command 'Mech, and it carries enhanced communications gear along with stealth armor plating. Arc-Royal MechWorks builds the type at its Arc-Royal facility, with additional production at the Defiance Manufacturing Annex.
