Mechbuster (LB-X)

The Mechbuster (LB-X) is a 50-ton fighter flown in the attack role, built around a single nose-mounted weapon in place of speed or armament breadth. Where the base Mechbuster carries an Autocannon/20 in the nose, this configuration replaces it with an LB 20-X AC in the same position, trading the original's solid-slug punch for scattershot capability from the same mount. The airframe otherwise carries the same standard armor over an ICE plant. It is commonly fitted as a field refit, and United Outworlders Corporation also builds it at Ramora.
