Maelstrom MTR-6K

The MTR-6K is a 75-ton skirmisher, a 3062 rebuild of the 3056 MTR-5K, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Where the MTR-5K carries an ER large laser and ER PPC, this variant fields a plain large laser in the left arm and a PPC in the right arm, and its center torso medium pulse laser and head-mounted medium pulse laser give way to a standard medium laser in each location, backed by a small laser in the center torso. It also adds small lasers in the left and right torso alongside the TAG in the right torso, and the heat-sink count drops from 19 to 17 double sinks. A Guardian ECM suite sits in the left torso and a Beagle active probe in the right torso, neither present on the original. Norse-Storm Technologies, Inc builds it at Solaris VII, with field refits accounting for other examples in service.
