Lancelot LNC25-05

The LNC25-05 is a 60-ton skirmisher, a field refit of the 2581 LNC25-01 dating from 2594 that trades reach for close-in bite. The center torso's medium laser is removed in favor of two machine guns bolted into each arm alongside the existing large lasers, giving four machine guns in total, while the right torso PPC carries over unchanged. Heat-sink count falls from 13 to 11 double, and the 360 XL fusion engine keeps the same 65 km/h cruising speed and 97 km/h top speed as the original. The low, hard-to-target silhouette and anti-aircraft fire control remain identifying features, and the conversion is done in the field rather than at a single dedicated plant.
