Lancelot C 2

The Lancelot C 2 is a 60-ton skirmisher, rebuilt in 2857 from the 2581 original with Clan-tech weaponry. Where the LNC25-01 carried a Large Laser in each arm, this variant fields an ER Large Laser in the Left Arm and another in the Right Arm, and the Right Torso's PPC becomes an ER PPC. In place of the single Medium Laser in the center torso, it mounts a pair of Flamers there, and endo steel structure replaces the standard framework of the original. MASC in the Left Torso lets it sprint to 130 km/h with the system engaged, well above its 65 km/h cruise and 97 km/h top speed, and its heat-sink count rises from 13 to 17 double sinks. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and anti-aircraft fire control of the earlier machine. Ashton 'Mech Production Complex builds it at Foster (Gregoire).
