Koschei KSC-5X

The Koschei KSC-5X is a 65-ton heavy that fights at stand-off to medium range, a 3075 rebuild of the 2504 KSC-3I with the same cruising speed of 54 km/h and top speed of 86, now with a jump capability of 150 metres the original lacked. In place of the AC/10 in the left arm, the KSC-5X carries a pair of ER medium lasers in the left torso, and where the KSC-3I mounted twin medium lasers in the right torso, this variant fields a Large Pulse Laser there instead, with a Medium Pulse Laser added in the center torso. A Guardian ECM suite sits in the center torso, and both arms end in claws rather than weapons. The engine shifts to a 325 XL fusion unit, the internal structure to endo steel, and the armor to light ferro-fibrous, while the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 11 double. The type keeps its fragile head, and Earthwerks Ltd. builds it at Tikonov.
