Ironsides IRN-SD1b-EC

The Ironsides IRN-SD1b-EC is a 65-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, rebuilt with mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology on an Inner Sphere chassis. The paired PPCs in the nose give way to twin ER PPCs, and the nose's single SRM 6 is replaced with a Streak SRM 4. Each wing trades its pair of SRM 6 launchers for two Streak SRM 4 launchers, while the medium laser on the right wing and the medium laser on the left wing carry over from the original. The fusion engine is replaced by an XL unit, and heat sink count rises from 10 to 20 double heat sinks. This example is a field refit rather than a factory-built machine, assembled at various sites.
