Ironsides CX-19

The Ironsides CX-19 is a 65-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, mixing Inner Sphere and Clan technology on the same Inner Sphere hull as its base model. Where the IRN-SD1 mounts a pair of PPCs in the nose, the CX-19 replaces them with three ER medium lasers, and the nose SRM 6 becomes a Streak SRM 6. Each wing swaps its single medium laser for an ER medium laser and carries three Streak SRM 6 launchers in place of the two plain SRM 6 launchers on the original. Armor changes from Standard to Ferro-Aluminum, and heat sink count rises from 10 double heat sinks to 14 double heat sinks. This variant is the product of a ComStar refit program rather than the original Brooks Incorporated production line.
