Recognition notes
The HSR-950-D reworks the Hussar as a 30-ton striker built for close-in work, a shift from the HSR-200-D's scouting role of 2620 while holding the same 97 km/h cruising speed and 151 km/h top speed. Where the original carried a single ER large laser in the center torso, this configuration mounts a Snub-Nose PPC there instead, backed by an ER medium laser in each arm. A 270 XL fusion engine replaces the standard powerplant, and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous plating. The type keeps its enhanced communications gear and its rugged, field-serviceable frame, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
