Recognition Notes
The Hussar HSR-400-D is a 30-ton scout, a 3052 rework of the 2620-era HSR-200-D. Where the original carried an ER Large Laser in the center torso, this version mounts an LB 10-X AC in the left torso. The 240 XL fusion engine replaces the base model's 270 fusion engine, and cruising speed falls from 97 to 86 km/h with top speed down from 151 to 130 km/h. Ten single heat sinks stand in for the original's ten doubles. The type keeps its ferro-fibrous armor, enhanced communications gear, and rugged, field-serviceable frame. Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry, with production also carried out at Terra.
