The Hussar HSR-900-D is a 30-ton scout, a 3069 rework of the 2620-era HSR-200-D, cruising at 97 km/h and topping out near 151. Where the HSR-200-D carries an ER large laser in the center torso, this configuration mounts a Light AC/2 in the same location, backed by CASE in the right torso. A light fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant of the original, and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the earlier ferro-fibrous plating. It retains the enhanced communications gear and the rugged, field-serviceable frame of the base machine, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
