Recognition notes
The GLT-5M is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3049 rebuild of the 2499-vintage GLT-3N. In place of the Large Laser in the left arm it mounts an ER Large Laser, while the twin medium lasers in the right arm, the single medium lasers in each torso, and the SRM 6 in the center torso carry over from the GLT-3N. Cruising speed holds at 43 km/h with a top speed of 65, and a 120-metre jump remains available. CASE still lines the right torso, and the fixed searchlight persists as a recognition feature. Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds the type at its Irian facility, with a second line at Angell II.
