Flashman FLS-9M

The FLS-9M rebuilds the Flashman as a 75-ton brawler, where the FLS-8K fought as a skirmisher. In place of the twin Large Lasers in each arm it mounts a Heavy PPC, keeping a Medium Laser alongside each; the torsos trade their single Medium Laser and rear-facing Medium Laser (left) and Anti-Missile System (right) for a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers plus a Medium Laser apiece, and the Center Torso Large Laser is gone entirely. A Small Laser sits in the head where the FLS-8K carried a Flamer. The lighter 300 light fusion engine drops cruising speed from 54 to 43 km/h and top speed from 86 to 65 km/h, and endo steel structure with light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard structure and armor of the earlier model. It keeps the rugged, field-serviceable frame of the line, and Defiance Industries still builds it at Hesperus II.
