Flashman FLS-9C

The FLS-9C rebuilds the Flashman around energy-weapon efficiency, arriving in 3061 against the original FLS-8K's 2701 debut, and keeps its role as a 75-ton skirmisher, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Each Large Laser in the arms and center torso gives way to an ER Large Laser in the same locations, and the Medium Lasers in both arms, the left torso, and the right torso become Medium Pulse Lasers, while the rear-facing Medium Laser in the left torso carries over unchanged. The Anti-Missile System in the right torso and the Flamer in the head are gone, replaced by a C3i computer fitted into the right torso. Endo steel internal structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the FLS-8K's standard structure and standard armor, and the heat-sink count rises from 15 to 16 double sinks. The type retains its rugged, field-serviceable frame, and Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
