Daishi (Dire Wolf) U

The Daishi (Dire Wolf) U is a 100-ton assault built for juggernaut work, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the Prime configuration mounts twin ER Large Lasers, an Ultra AC/5, and a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers in each arm along with an LRM 10 in the left torso, this configuration carries a single ER PPC and two Medium Pulse Lasers per arm, and in place of the LRM 10 it fields three SRT 6 racks in each side torso. A targeting computer sits in the left arm, and HarJel systems back both arms as well as all three torso sections. Underwater maneuvering units are built into the left torso, right torso, and center torso, and the head carries a MechWarrior aquatic survival system. Its 16 double heat sinks sit well below the Prime's 22. Phan Industriplex builds it at Huntress, among other sites.
