Chameleon CLN-9V

The Chameleon CLN-9V is a 50-ton striker, a 3120 rebuild of the 2510 TRC-4B scout. In place of the TRC-4B's Large Laser, the right arm carries a Light PPC, and both arms trade their Medium Lasers for ER Medium Lasers. The torsos swap four Small Lasers for three Small X-Pulse Lasers, one in the left torso and two in the right, while the Machine Guns stay in the center torso. A light fusion engine and reinforced internal structure replace the base fusion engine and standard structure, double heat sinks replace the single heat sinks, and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating. CASE II is fitted to the left torso. Cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed near 97, and a single jump carries it 180 metres. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
