Chameleon CLN-7VQ "Q-'Mech"

The CLN-7VQ "Q-'Mech" rebuilds the Chameleon as a 50-ton striker, where the 2510 TRC-4B fought as a scout. In place of the original's Large Laser, twin Medium Lasers, four Small Lasers, and pair of Machine Guns, this variant mounts a Heavy PPC in the right arm alongside an Improved Heavy Medium Laser, a second Improved Heavy Medium Laser in the left arm, and a third in the left torso. A PPC capacitor backs the Heavy PPC, a Clan targeting computer sits in the left torso, and an Angel ECM suite occupies the center torso, none of which the TRC-4B carried. The engine shifts from a 300 fusion plant to a 300 Inner Sphere XL fusion engine, and Inner Sphere endo steel replaces the standard internal structure, while the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 11 Inner Sphere double. Cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed of 97 km/h and an unchanged 180-metre jump range, and Defiance Industries still builds it at Hesperus II.
