The Cestus CTS-6Z is a 65-ton brawler, a 3058 rebuild of the 2609 original, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. In place of the medium pulse laser in each arm, it carries a plain medium laser alongside the PPC and Large Laser already there. The engine remains a 260 XL fusion plant, but the heat-sink fit grows from 14 single sinks to 16 double sinks. General Motors builds the type at Kathil, with production also carried out at Solaris VII.
