The Cauldron-Born (Ebon Jaguar) U is a 65-ton heavy fielded as a sniper, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Where the Prime configuration mounts an LB 5-X AC in the left arm and a Gauss Rifle in the right, this configuration carries a Large Pulse Laser and an ER Small Laser in each arm. In place of the Prime's LRM 10, ER Medium Laser, and SRM 2 in the torsos, it fields an LRT 15 in each torso, with underwater maneuvering units in both torsos as well. It carries 16 double heat sinks against the Prime's 13. Both configurations share the low, hard-to-target silhouette. Huntress Manufacturing Plant DL-6 builds the type, with production also at Manufacturing Plant SFF-CO1.
