The Butcherbird (Ion Sparrow) D is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130, with a partial wing in each torso feeding a 300-metre jump. Where the Prime configuration mounts twin Improved Heavy Medium Lasers in the left arm, this configuration carries a pair of ER Medium Lasers in the same location. In place of the Prime's twin AP Gauss Rifles in the right arm, it fields a single Medium Pulse Laser there. The chassis keeps its 160 XL fusion engine, endo steel structure, and ferro-fibrous armor, and is built by CJF Factory Zone 4 at Alyina.
