Bowman 3

The Bowman 3 is a 70-ton skirmisher built on the same 350 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure as the 2923 Bowman 4, but its armament bears no resemblance to that missile boat's pair of Arrow IV launchers. In their place it carries a HAG/20 in the right arm, an ATM 9 in the left torso, three ER medium lasers in the left arm, and a fourth ER medium laser in the right torso. The Inner Sphere anti-personnel pods in each leg give way to Anti-BattleArmor Pods, and a targeting computer occupies the right torso alongside the carried-over ECM suite in the head. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original, and the heat-sink count rises from 11 to 12 double sinks. Both machines cruise at 54 km/h and top out near 86, and both stand as a stable firing platform. It is produced through field refit at various sites rather than a dedicated factory line.
