The Black Lanner J is a 55-ton skirmisher, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out at 119, with a sprint burst to 189 km/h when its MASC and supercharger are both engaged. Where the Prime configuration carries a pair of ER Medium Lasers alongside an ER Large Laser in the right arm, this configuration mounts three ER Medium Lasers in the left arm and swaps the arm weapon for a ProtoMech AC/8 in the right arm. In place of the Prime's LRM 10 in the left torso and SRM 6 in the right torso, this configuration carries a supercharger in the left torso, working with the center torso MASC to push its sprint well past the Prime's MASC-only figure of 151 km/h. It stands as a stable firing platform, and Ironhold Alpha Complex builds it at its Ironhold works.
