The Black Lanner A is a 55-ton skirmisher that fights at stand-off range, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out at 119 on its 385 XL fusion engine. Where the Prime configuration mounts an ER Medium Laser and ER Large Laser in the arms alongside an LRM 10 and SRM 6 in the torsos, this configuration carries an ER PPC in the right arm and a Medium Pulse Laser in the left, with a TAG in the left torso in place of the missile racks. The design keeps its stable firing platform, and ferro-fibrous armor covers the endo steel frame. Ironhold Alpha Complex builds it at Ironhold, with Olivetti Weaponry also producing the type at Sudeten.
