Annihilator C

The Annihilator C is a 100-ton assault rebuilt as a field refit of the 2779 ANH-1X, trading the Inner Sphere chassis for a Clan-tech rework in 2848. Where the original mounted an LB 10-X autocannon, a medium laser, and a small pulse laser in each arm, this version carries an Ultra AC/10 and an ER medium laser in the left arm and the same pairing in the right, with a further Ultra AC/10 in each torso and twin ER medium lasers in the center torso. The head-mounted small laser and both torso CASE installations are gone, and a heavier 300 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 22 to 32 km/h and top speed from 32 to 54 km/h. Endo steel structure replaces the standard frame, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 12 double sinks. It remains an easily-serviced design, now built piecemeal as a field refit at various sites rather than at a dedicated factory.
