The Vulture Mk IV (Mad Dog Mk IV) D is a 60-ton heavy that brawls at close range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. Where the Prime configuration carries an LB 5-X AC in the left arm and an ER PPC in the right, this configuration fields an Improved Heavy Medium Laser in each arm. In place of the Prime's paired SRM 6 racks in the side torsos, it mounts an ATM 12 in the left torso and another in the right, and the center torso carries a Micro Pulse Laser where the Prime carries an ER Small Pulse Laser. The heat-sink count rises from 12 double to 14 double, and the type keeps the same stable firing platform. Manufacturing Plant SFF-TU1 on Tukayyid builds it.
