Vanquisher VQR-7U

The VQR-7U rebuilds the Vanquisher as a 100-ton close-in juggernaut, where the VQR-2A fought at long range. In place of the twin Light Gauss Rifles it carries a Plasma Rifle and an ER Flamer in each arm, and the Heavy Flamer in the head replaces the ER Medium Laser mounted there. The left torso trades its ER Large Laser and ER Medium Laser for a pair of Small VSP Lasers, while the right torso swaps its own ER Large Laser and ER Medium Laser for a single Snub-Nose PPC. Triple-Strength Myomer and a compact fusion engine of the same 300 rating replace the standard myomer and fusion plant of the original, letting the design push its cruising speed to 54 km/h under combat heat though its ordinary top speed stays at 54 km/h. The CASE installations in both torsos are gone, replaced by a Beagle active probe and C3i computer in the center torso and a remote sensor dispenser in the left torso. It keeps the minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and stands as a stable firing platform, built by Skobel Mechworks at Terra.
