Tempest TMP-3MA

The Tempest TMP-3MA is a 65-ton brawler that closes to short range behind a mixed battery of energy and ballistic weapons, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. A Large Pulse Laser rides in the left arm opposite an AC/10 in the right, while an SRM 6 fills the left torso for close-in punch. A pair of Medium Lasers sits in the center torso, and a third is mounted in the head. The 260 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure keep the frame light enough to carry standard armor and 12 double heat sinks, with a 120-metre jump capability for repositioning. This example is a field refit assembled at various facilities rather than a single dedicated production line.
