The Tempest TMP-3M is a 65-ton brawler that closes to short range behind a Gauss rifle in the right arm and a Large Pulse Laser in the left, backed by an SRM 6 in the left torso and a trio of medium lasers split between the center torso and the head. It cruises at 43 km/h and tops out near 65, modest for its class, with a single jump carrying it 120 metres. An endo steel skeleton and a 260 XL fusion engine free enough tonnage for standard armor plating and 11 double heat sinks. Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds it at Angell II, with additional production at Irian.
