Tarantula ZPH-3A

The ZPH-3A is a 25-ton striker built for close-in work, a role change from the reconnaissance duties of the 3054-vintage ZPH-1. Where that scout carried a medium laser in each torso and a Streak SRM 2 in the center torso, this configuration drops the missile rack entirely and replaces both medium lasers with a medium pulse laser in the left torso and a matching one in the right. Endo steel internal structure replaces the ZPH-1's standard framework, though jump range falls from 240 to 210 metres on the same 200 XL fusion engine. Cruising speed holds at 86 km/h with a top speed near 130, quick for its weight. Corean Enterprises builds it at its Stewart plant.
