Recognition Notes

The Talon TLN-5W-EC is a 35-ton striker, a 2823 field refit of the 2670 TLN-5V that fights at stand-off to medium range, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. The two Medium Lasers in the left arm carry over unchanged, but the PPC in the right arm is replaced by an Enhanced PPC drawing on mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology. It keeps the minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and the rugged, field-serviceable frame of the base model, and is turned out as a field refit rather than a factory-built machine at various sites.
