Striker STC-2L

The STC-2L is an 80-ton juggernaut, a 3123 refit of the 2571 Striker that trades its original brawler's armament for close-range firepower entirely its own. Where the STC-2C carried an AC/5 in the left arm, a Large Laser in the left torso, and a PPC in the right torso, this configuration mounts a Plasma Rifle in the left arm and a second Plasma Rifle in the right torso, keeping the pair of Medium Lasers in the center torso and the Medium Laser in the head. Heat-dissipating armor replaces the base model's standard plating, and the heat-sink count drops from 15 single to 13 double sinks. Cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, it moves at the same pace as the original. It remains an easily-serviced design, and Earthwerks Ltd. handles the refit at Grand Base.
