Recognition Notes

The STC-2D is an 80-ton brawler, a 3056 refit of the 2571 original, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. In place of the PPC in the right torso it carries an ER PPC, and the pair of medium lasers in the center torso are swapped for medium pulse lasers, while the head-mounted medium laser is dropped entirely. The AC/5 in the left arm and the Large Laser in the left torso carry over from the STC-2C, and the 15 single heat sinks give way to 12 double sinks. It remains an easily-serviced design, and the refit is handled by Earthwerks Ltd. at Grand Base.
