Stingray F-96R

The Stingray F-96R is a 60-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter. Where the F-90 mounts a PPC in the nose and a large laser and medium laser in each wing, the F-96R strips the arrangement down to a single Large Re-engineered Laser in the nose and one more in each wing. The hull carries ferro-aluminum armor in place of the F-90's standard plate, and heat sink count falls from twenty single heat sinks to fifteen doubles. Andurien AeroTech builds the type at Andurien.
