Recognition notes
The STO-6X is a 35-ton striker, a 3078 rebuild of the 3059 STO-4A that trades the earlier machine's mixed missile armament for four ER medium lasers, two in the left torso and two in the right. A lighter 245 fusion engine replaces the STO-4A's 280 light fusion engine, dropping cruising speed from 86 to 76 km/h and top speed from 130 to 119 km/h, though a supercharger in the center torso lets it sprint to 151 km/h. Where the STO-4A carried a Guardian ECM suite and CASE, the STO-6X mounts a Bloodhound active probe in the right torso, and shoulder turrets sit in both torsos. Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
