Slayer SL-CX1

The Slayer SL-CX1 is an 80-ton fighter built for the dogfighter role, refitted around a mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology loadout on its original chassis. Where the SL-15 mounts an Autocannon/10 and a Medium Laser in the nose, this configuration carries a single Rotary AC/5 there. The four Medium Lasers in the wings give way to four Improved Heavy Medium Lasers, two to a wing, and the Medium Laser in the aft arc is replaced by a Laser Anti-Missile System. The XL engine and Ferro-Lamellor armor stand in place of the SL-15's Fusion engine and Standard armor, and sixteen double heat sinks cool the type in place of the twenty single heat sinks the SL-15 carries. UOC Provisional Research Center performs the refit at Ramora.
