Sasquatch SQS-TH-002

The SQS-TH-002 is an 85-ton assault that fights as a brawler, a role shift from the SQS-TH-001's skirmishing brief. A 425 large XXL fusion engine and endo steel structure replace the 340 XL fusion engine and standard structure of the original, raising cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, though the type gives up the 120-metre jump capability of the earlier model. The Gauss Rifle stays in the right arm, but the left arm's Medium Pulse Laser is gone in favor of a Medium X-Pulse Laser in the left torso, and the SRM 6, both Machine Guns, and the Anti-Missile System of the SQS-TH-001 are absent. The rear-facing Small Laser in the head carries over, heat-sink count drops from 14 double to 10 double, and the design remains maintenance-intensive. Vining Engineering and Salvage Teams builds it on Solaris VII.
