Samurai SL-26

The Samurai SL-26 is a 50-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter, built around the same nose battery of three medium lasers and a small laser as its base model. Where the SL-25 mounts a medium laser and a small laser in each wing, the SL-26 swaps the wing medium lasers for an ER large laser on the right wing and an ER large laser on the left wing, leaving the small laser in each wing untouched. The aft-facing medium laser and small laser carry over from the SL-25. The fighter trades the SL-25's fusion engine for an XL engine and its standard armor for ferro-aluminum plate, and runs on 18 double heat sinks in place of the SL-25's 19 single heat sinks. Fairchild Dornier builds it at Mizar.
