Sai S-4C

The Sai S-4C is a 40-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter, rebuilt around Clan-technology weapons the S-3 never carried. Where the S-3 mounts a Large Laser in the nose, the S-4C carries an ER PPC there, and the four Medium Lasers in the wings give way to four Streak SRM 4 launchers, two in the right wing and two in the left wing. An XL engine replaces the S-3's Fusion plant, and Ferro-Aluminum armor replaces the Standard plate, with CASE fitted in the fuselage. Fourteen double heat sinks cool the type, up from the S-3's fourteen single heat sinks. Wakazashi Enterprises builds the type at Schuyler, with production also at Avon and Irece.
