Rook NH-3X

The Rook NH-3X is a 55-ton striker that closes to short range, a 3076 rework of the 3074 NH-1A juggernaut. A lighter 330 XL fusion engine replaces the original's 200 fusion powerplant, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 65 km/h and top speed from 54 to 97 km/h, with a supercharger in the center torso pushing it to a sprint speed of 130 km/h when engaged; jump range grows from 90 to 180 metres. Where the NH-1A carried a PPC in the right torso and paired rear-facing medium lasers in the side torsos, the NH-3X drops the rear weapons and mounts a Binary Laser (Blazer) Cannon in the right torso alongside a medium laser, with additional medium lasers in the left arm, right arm, and left torso, and a small laser in the head. Standard armor replaces the original's primitive plating, and 10 double heat sinks stand in for the NH-1A's 14 single sinks. The type keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame, and New Hessen WorkMechs builds it at New Hessen.
