Nightsky NGS-7S

The Nightsky NGS-7S is a 50-ton striker that closes to short range, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a single jump carrying it 180 metres. Where the NGS-4S of 3053 carried a Large Pulse Laser in the left arm, this 3142 rebuild fields a Large X-Pulse Laser in the same location, and the paired Medium Pulse Lasers in the left and right torsos give way to ER Medium Lasers. The Small Pulse Laser in the head is replaced by a Small X-Pulse Laser, and the hatchet in the right arm is now joined by an actuator enhancement system. Heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original, the heat-sink count rises from 11 to 13 Inner Sphere double sinks, and the Clan XL fusion engine keeps the same rated output as the earlier model's XL unit. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
