Kyudo KY2-D-03

The KY2-D-03 is a 3074 rebuild of the 2443 primitive KY2-D-01, a 45-ton missile boat that fights at long range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. Where the KY2-D-01 carries an LRM 10 in the left arm, this variant fields an MML 7 there with an Artemis IV fire-control system, and it adds a second MML 7 with its own Artemis IV in the right torso. The right arm's Large Laser is replaced by an ER Large Laser, and CASE now lines the left torso. Endo steel internal structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the base model's standard structure and primitive plating, and a 225 fusion engine stands in for the 220, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h. The design runs 10 double heat sinks in place of the KY2-D-01's 12 single heat sinks. Lopez Maintenance Facility builds the type at its Lopez works.
