Kyudo KY2-D-02

The Kyudo KY2-D-02 is a 45-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 2625 rebuild of the 2443 KY2-D-01 original. Where the KY2-D-01 carried an LRM 10 in the left arm, this variant fields an LRM 20 in the same location, backed by an Artemis IV fire-control system, and the Large Laser in the right arm gives way to an ER Large Laser. A 225 fusion engine and endo steel structure lift the cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, while ferro-fibrous armor replaces the primitive plating of the original. CASE lines the left torso, and the heat-sink count drops from 12 single to 10 double units. Martinson Armaments builds the type at Terra, with production also at Shiro III.
