Recognition notes

The Hellfire 2 rebuilds the chassis as a 60-ton skirmisher, where the original Hellfire fought as a close-in brawler. A lighter 300 XL fusion engine replaces the base model's 240 fusion powerplant, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, with MASC engaged pushing sprint speed to 108 km/h. In the torsos, ATM 6 launchers replace the base's LRM 10 racks alongside the retained Heavy Large Laser in the left torso, while the right arm's Heavy Small Laser is dropped outright and the left arm's Heavy Small Laser gives way to an ER Small Laser. The Heavy Medium Lasers and ER Medium Lasers in both arms carry over from the original, and heat-sink count rises from 17 to 18 double sinks. It remains a maintenance-intensive design, built by Arcadia BattleMech Plant CM-T4 at Arcadia in the Rechlan system.
