Hellcat II HCT-213BC (Herman)

The Hellcat II HCT-213BC (Herman) is a 50-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter, rebuilt around an XL engine in place of the HCT-213B's fusion plant. Where the HCT-213B carries a large laser in the right wing and a matching large laser in the left wing along with a medium laser in the aft, the HCT-213BC strips the wing and aft weapons entirely and mounts two medium lasers in the nose. The Beagle active probe from the nose of the HCT-213B is gone, and heat sink count falls from fifteen single heat sinks to ten. The design carries enhanced communications gear, is noted as an easily-serviced design, and is listed as obsolete by 2776, still built in ferro-aluminum armor.
