Recognition Notes
The Hellcat II HCT-212 is a 50-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter. Where the HCT-213B carries a large laser in each wing and a single medium laser in the aft, the HCT-212 adds a second medium laser to each wing and drops the aft weapon entirely, so both wings now carry a large laser and a medium laser apiece. The nose Beagle active probe of the HCT-213B is gone. Heat sinks rise from 15 to 16 single heat sinks, and armor stays ferro-aluminum. This model is a field refit rather than a factory-built variant, assembled at various sites rather than at Graham IV.
