Gurkha GUR-8G

The GUR-8G is a 35-ton striker that fights close in, a 3069 rework of the 3063 GUR-2G's melee-heavy loadout. In place of the four ER small lasers, the left arm now carries three ER medium lasers, and the right torso's ER PPC gives way to a Snub-Nose PPC. An ER small laser sits in the head, and a retractable blade replaces the sword in the right arm. Triple-Strength myomer is fitted, letting the 'Mech push its cruising speed to 97 km/h under combat heat, above its normal 76 km/h cruise and 119 km/h top speed. The C3i computer in the center torso carries over from the earlier machine, and Krupp Armaments Works still builds it on Terra.
